The Bajirao Mastani star had written a letter to her daughter for Mother's Day 2022, in which she shared the happy news that she had just brought her newborn home from the hospital. In her lengthy essay, she told her readers that Malti Marie had spent 100 days in the neonatal intensive care unit. The new mother had thanked the hospital staff, including the doctor and nurses, for their care of her newborn.
"For Mother's Day this year, we can't help but think back on the last several months and the emotional rollercoaster we've been on, which we now know is shared by so many others. Our daughter was in the NICU for over a hundred days, but she is finally home with us. While our family's journey has been difficult over the past several months, it has also been incredibly rewarding, and I am so grateful for the lessons I have learned about the importance of faith and the value of family. Our family is happy to have our daughter home and would like to express our gratitude to all of the doctors, nurses, and specialists who helped bring her back to health "excerpt from Priyanka's statement.
