Chatchai Plengpanich (Thai: ; born 17 January 1960) is a Thai film and television actor. He's appeared in a number of Thai soap operas and feature films.

Chatchai was born in the province of Kanchanaburi. Because his father was a police officer, the family moved around Thailand frequently throughout his childhood. He went to King's College, a prominent boarding school in Nakhon Pathom, where he discovered his love for rugby.
He rose to prominence in the late 1970s for his portrayal of Tee Yai, a real-life robber. Tee Yai's narrative was made into a Channel 5 TV drama of the same name in 1985. Related Archival File: Full Biography of Jesdaporn Pholdee
He met his wife, Sinjai Plengpanich, on the set of a film in which they both played lead roles. During the next four years, they had numerous chance encounters and decided to date each other. They chose to marry a year later. They have three kids.
