When the Grand Inquisitor first appeared in Obi-Wan Kenobi, he claimed Jedi were easy to hunt because their compassionate nature forces them to reveal themselves the second an innocent civilian is in danger. His theory is proven right when Nari, a Jedi hiding on Tatooine, exposes his Jedi status to protect a stranger from Reva, leading to him being apprehended and eventually killed. The fact that Obi-Wan himself then risks exposure to rescue Princess Leia helps prove the Grand Inquisitors point.
