Regarding Bills star Von Miller, Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said, "Some of us are aliens visiting from another planet."
As we approach Sunday's Week 5 clash between the two teams, we assume that when Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin refers to Buffalo Bills pass-rusher Von Miller as a "alien," he isn't just referring to Miller's attire.
Tomlin joked, "Some of us are visitors from another planet."
The coach's argument? Miller, 33, is still proving himself worthy of the enormous six-year, $120 million contract he got with the Bills this past offseason.
his first four games' performance? Through four games, he has recorded seven total tackles, three sacks, and two passes defended in addition to the constant intimidation that comes with being a potential Hall of Famer.
Miller has been a crucial component for the Bills, who are 3-1 and tied for first place in the AFC East, both in terms of performance and leadership.
He also likes to make fashion statements, as evidenced by the "alien"-looking clothing Beyonce sent him.
Miller joined the Bills after the Los Angeles Rams won the Super Bowl a year ago. Before becoming a free agent, he played in eight games there, making a total of 31 tackles, five sacks, and one forced fumble. The Rams wanted to keep him, and at this point Tomlin and his 1-3 rebuilding Steelers, who are likely to play rookie quarterback Kenny Pickett in that home game against them at Highmark Stadium at 1 p.m. ET, surely wish Von had stayed in Los Angeles. Or on whatever planet he hails from.
