When Apple Blythe Martin, her little daughter, left for college, Gwyneth Paltrow broke down in tears.
During yesterday's Gwyneth Paltrow x Copper Fit Feel the Fit Press Day in Santa Monica, California, the founder of Goop recalled the incident to People.
"It was awful. It was genuinely horrible "says the actress. "I was crying uncontrollably and felt ill to my stomach."
After recently witnessing "how happy she is and content" during a recent parents weekend visit to her school, Paltrow claimed she has become "more and more accustomed to" not having her only kid with her all the time.
Apple, 18, recently made a break and went back home. Just past weekend, she returned home for the October break, which was incredible, according to Paltrow. "Though not as frequently as I'd like, I see her. Though I wish I could see her every day, I'm incredibly delighted for her. She's doing wonderful."
The former actress posted a nice photo to Instagram in honour of International Women's Day in March that was taken during a FaceTime conversation with her kid. "I feel hopeful about the future of sisterhood and the future of the earth because of this woman. And more than anyone else, this woman is responsible for shaping the person I am today."
She is also the mother of 16-year-old Moses Martin. With her former husband Chris Martin, she has two children.
