Since Chris Pratt's identification as the turtle-stomping plumber in September 2021's unveiling of the star-studded roster that makes up the DNA of the new Super Mario Bros picture, there has been almost no communication from Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures. With the release of a new poster and the promise of a new teaser, they have revived the enthusiasm for the Super Mario movie today.
This new announcement promises actual trailer footage to be shown from the movie, which audiences everywhere can watch when it releases on October 6 in a Nintendo Direct that will air at 4:05 p.m. EST, despite the fact that the anticipation has significantly subsided since the film has been delayed until at least 2023.
Chris Pratt will play the title character Mario in the animated Super Mario Bros. movie, alongside Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Charlie Day as Luigi, Jack Black as Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad, Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong, Fred Armisen as Cranky Kong, Kevin Michael Richardson as Kamek, Sebastian Maniscalco as Spike, and of course Charles Martine, who has provided the character's voice for It's unclear from the poster whether Keegan-Michael Key will play all the Toad voices or just the main one.
The advertisement also features an antique shop on a street in the Mushroom Kingdom from Super Mario Bros., which gives viewers a clearer idea of what to anticipate from the animated movie's recreation of the famous spot. On the Nintendo of America YouTube channel, fans may watch.
