Tanya Sharma (born September 27, 1995) is a television actress from India. She is best known for her roles in the films Saath Nibhaana Saathiya and Sasural Simar Ka 2.

Career

Early difficulties (2011–14)

Sharma made her television debut as Chanchal Raj in Afsar Bitiya (2011-2012). It was followed by the mythological drama Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev, in which she played Devasena, and Fear Files, in which she made an episodic appearance, but these performances did not bring her broader popularity.

From 2015 to 2017, Sharma had her breakout role as Meera Modi, the parallel new generation star in Rashmi Sharma's most successful long-running StarPlus soap opera Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, gaining her immense universal fame.

In 2018, she played Binni Jindal in Zee TV's Woh Apna Sa. She played three different characters in three separate standalone episodes of &TV's renowned anthology drama Laal Ishq.

Sharma landed her second major part in February 2019, when she was cast as Saanvi "Anjor" Rajvanshi in Colors TV's social drama Udaan.
