Svetlana Viktorovna Khodchenkova (born 21 January 1983) is a Russian actress who works in film, television, and theater. She is a Russian Federation Honored Artist (2018).
Khodchenkova was born in Moscow, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union.She worked for a modeling agency for a short time.. In 2005, she graduated from the Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute, where she studied under Mikhail Borisovich Borisov's direction..
Career
Elena Khodchenkova made her cinematic debut in the 2003 picture Bless the Woman, directed by Stanislav Govorukhin.She was nominated for a "Nika" award for Best Actress for this role.
She continues her career as clairvoyant Cassandra in the historical television series Talisman of Love (2005).Svetlana appeared as a ballerina in Pavel Sanaev's 2007 film Kilometer Zero.She earned the prize for Best Actress in Little Moscow at the Polish Film Festival in 2008.
She is also renowned for her parts in the big office flicks Love in the Big City (2009), Love in the Big City 2 (2010), and Office Romance.She was in the TV shows Lavrova's Method (2011) and Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (2011) as Irina.On September 5, 2011, Khodchenkova attended the premiere of "Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy" at the 68th Venice Film Festival.
She co-starred as Viper, one of the film's antagonists, alongside Hugh Jackman in the 2013 superhero thriller The Wolverine.Khodchenkova starred as Irina the Greek woman in the historical action flick Viking (2016).
