Sonampreet Bajwa (born August 16, 1989) is an Indian model and actress who primarily appears in Punjabi and a few Hindi films. Aside from a few Tamil and Telugu films. In 2012, she competed in the Femina Miss India pageant. Sonam Bajwa's acting career began in 2013 with the Punjabi film Best Of Luck. She starred as the lead female in the 2014 film Punjab 1984. In 2020, she won the PTC Punjabi Film Awards for Best Actress for Ardab Mutiyaran.
Bajwa was born in Nainital on August 16, 1989, and is of Punjabi descent. She attended Delhi University. She moved to Mumbai in 2012 and competed in the Femina Miss India pageant. She went on to become an air hostess and an actress.
She debuted with the Punjabi film Best Of Luck (2013) and played the female lead in period drama Punjab 1984 (2014). In 2014, she also appeared in the Tamil romantic comedy Kappal.
She was nominated for Best Actress at the PTC Punjabi Film Awards in 2019 for Carry on Jatta 2 and won it in 2020 for Ardab Mutiyaran.
Media Bajwa was named the Chandigarh Times Most Desirable Woman in 2016, 2017, 2018, No. 2 in 2018, No. 1 in 2019, and No. 4 in 2020.
