The 38-year-old pop singer and her husband Taylor Goldsmith already have a 20-month-old son named August, but with the slightly "late" arrival of baby Ozzie on Friday, the trio has grown to include four children (21.10.22.)
Mandy posted the following on Instagram beside a black-and-white photo of herself holding the infant in bed: "Ozzie is at hand! Oscar Bennett Goldsmith arrived a little later than expected, but he did so with style (and, much to his parents' joy, delivered quicker and easier than his big brother). Every proverb is accurate: our hearts have multiplied in size, and we experience love with incredible immediateness. He is incredible, and we are extremely appreciative of our four-person family!"
Moments after publishing the picture, the "Tangled" actor received a barrage of congratulations, including one from "High School Musical" actress Ashley Tisdale, who wrote: "Congratulations to all of you! Alison Brie of "Mad Men" wrote: "Congratulations!! Tyler Merritt, a comedian, exclaimed: "My heart!!!! Welcome Ozzie!" freaking out my heart!"
The good news comes just days after the singer of the famous song "Candy" said she was "playing the waiting game" for her second kid and treasured the time she had left with her young son while he was still an only child.
She commented at the time: "I'll take all the cuddles with the sweetest guy I know while we play the patient waiting game. Although he's still too little to fully grasp the idea of a baby brother, I believe that he intuitively understands that things are about to change and that he's going to make the finest big brother ever. #thisisgus."
