Sanam Jung () is a Pakistani actress, model, television host, and VJ. In 2007, she made her television debut in the popular Hum TV series Dil e Muztar (2013).
Career
Jung began her career as a VJ on Play TV in 2008 while pursuing her BBA (Banking and Finance), but moved to AAG TV in 2010 while pursuing her MBA (Finance). She made her Hum TV debut in Dil e Muztar, alongside Imran Abbas Naqvi, Sarwat Gilani, Aijaz Aslam, and Saba Hameed. She appeared in Mohabat Subh Ka Sitara Hai in 2013, alongside Meekal Zulfiqar and Adeel Hussain. She then starred alongside Adnan Siddiqui and Hareem Farooq in Mere Humdum Mere Dost. In 2015, she reprised her role in Alvida alongside Imran Abbas Naqvi.
She hosted Jago Pakistan Jago on Hum TV from 2014 to 30 November 2018.
Sanam made her comeback in 2019 with Mein Na Janoo, a collaboration between MD Productions and Adnan Siddiqui's Cereal Production. Furqan Khan directed it for Hum Tv, and it stars Zahid Ahmed (actor) and Affan Waheed. Sanam played a negative character for the first time in Qarar as Maya in 2020 on Hum TV alongside Mikaal Zulfiqar, Rabab Hashim, and Muneeb Butt.
Sanam Jung will now play the titular character in Pyari Mona for Hum TV, alongside Adeel Hussain. The drama will address body issues as well as societal beauty standards.
In addition, Sanam will appear in the upcoming Ary drama Ab Nahi Milenge Hum. Kashif Saleem directed the film, which stars Affan Waheed, Agha Ali, and Komal Meer.
