Mohsin Khan (born October 26, 1991) is an Indian television actor best known for his performance as Kartik Goenka in Star Plus' Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.

Mohsin Khan grew up in Nadiad, Gujarat, and is a Gujarati Muslim. He was born Waseem, but his father soon changed his name to Mohsin Khan. He has strong ties to Gujarat because of fond memories of his childhood in Nadiad, and he tries to visit his family there on a regular basis. His father Abdul Waheed Khan, mother Mehzabin Khan, sister Zeba Ahmed, brother-in-law Dr. Taha Ahmed, and younger brother Sajjad Khan make up his family.

Khan's career began as the second assistant director on the film Koyelaanchal. He made his television debut in Nisha Aur Uske Cousins on Star Plus, but he rose to prominence as Kartik Goenka in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, opposite Shivangi Joshi.

Mohsin Khan was born into a middle-class family in Nadiad, Gujarat.

As a child, Mohsin was very shy and studious.

Mohsin topped his class in applied electronics and scored 80% in engineering.

Although he never actually thought of becoming an actor, he always wanted to do something related to the field of entertainment.

Mohsin started writing scripts and making short films while he was in college.

Mohsin had been dating his “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai” co-star, Shivangi Joshi, for a long time. However, in 2019, there were rumours about their breakup.
In November 2019, Mohsin apparently refused to share the vanity van with Shivangi Joshi post their breakup rumours. The duo was reportedly sharing the vanity right from the beginning of the show. However, the actor later clarified that it was no such case. He said,
We were shooting for a fight sequence in which we had to get into mud. So, the vanity van section which I was provided with didn’t have a bathroom where I could take a shower and it was on the other side of the van. That’s why I asked the production to allot me the portion with bathing area. I have never demanded for a single door vanity van. In fact, today also I am sharing a vanity with Shivangi. All I can say is somebody is trying to divert attention from our hard work and prove us unprofessional.”
