Lenni-Kim Lalande (born September 8, 2001) is a singer from Canada.

Biography Childhood

Lenni-Kim Lalande was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on September 8, 2001. Guy Lalande and Myriam Landry are his parents.

He began imitating singers he saw on television at a young age. At the age of eight, Lenni-Kim joined an advertising agency and began shooting commercials and films in Quebec.

Lenni-Kim Lalande rose to prominence in 2015 after appearing in the second season of the French TV show The Voice Kids, where he chose French musician Patrick Fiori as his coach but was ousted from the fights. He then uploaded many cover songs to the Internet, including "Something Big" by Shawn Mendes and "Love Me Like You Do" by Ellie Goulding in duet with Phoebe Koyabe. To commemorate World Suicide Prevention Day, he released the song "Pourquoi tout perdre" with a video directed by Antoine Olivier Pilon and featuring Marianne Verville, Alice Morel-Michaud, Camille Felton, Michal Girard, and Marc-François Blondi.

He secured a contract with Warner Music France in 2017, which produced his album Les autres, which was published in June 2017. Yolo and Don't Stop have combined for 38 million views, with Don't Stop recently reaching twenty-four million views and Yolo reaching fourteen million.

In the French credits of the second season of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir, he sung a duet with French singer Lou Jean.

He finished second in the eighth season of the French television show Danse avec les stars on TF1 in the autumn of 2017. He was sixteen years old at the time, making him the youngest applicant in the show's history, all seasons combined.

He was nominated for the NRJ Music Awards in the category of Francophone Breakthrough of the Year.

He was a member of the Génération Enfoirés album (published on December 1, 2017) as well as the Enfoirés Kids performance, which was taped on November 19, 2017 and broadcast on December 1, 2017.

On February 16, 2018, he launched a new video for his song "Juste toi et moi," which has received over six million views on YouTube.

On July 13, 2019, he appeared for the second time in the French program Fort Boyard, for the association Les Bonnes Fées, alongside Miss France 2019 Vaimalama Chaves, Sylvie Tellier, the general manager of the Society Miss France, Nicole Ferroni, singer Francis Lalanne, and columnist Pierre-Jean Chalençon.

On May 24, 2019, he released Minuit, the lead song for his first EP 18, which was released on September 13, 2019. It has received 7,6 million views on YouTube. The second single, 18-Unplugged, was released on Lenni Kim's 18th birthday, September 8, 2019.

In 2018-2019, he organized a series of tours in France, Belgium, Switzerland, Quebec (Canada), and Russia.

On March 5, 2020, he released his single BAD BUZZ, which was originally intended for his second album, but was canceled due to the pandemic.

In 2021, he published his single Mélancolie as well as a Symphonic version; both videoclips have over a million views on YouTube.

Lenni Kim intends to release a second EP with six new songs in 2023.
