Lapat Ngamchaweng (Thai:, born 24 November 1998); generally known as Third (Thai: ) is a Thai singer, actor, brand spokesperson, and model. He was a former Kamikaze artist and a part of Nine by Nine. Currently, he is a member of the Thai boy band TRINITY.
Early life and education
Lapat was born in Bangkok, Thailand on November 24, 1998. Ketsara Limpananon is his mother's name. He is the youngest of three siblings, the other two being Larisa Ngamchaweng (Lyly) and Larisara Ngamchaweng (Biba). He attended New Sathorn International School and will graduate from Chulalongkorn University's Faculty of Communication Arts in 2020.
In 2016, Lapat launched his career as the Third Kamikaze.
Lapat developed an early interest in acting. He first debuted as the young lead actor in a Thai rendition of Romeo and Juliet in 2012. However, he chose to pursue a singing career and signed with the record label Kamikaze in 2013.
On August 27, 2014, he released his debut single "Reminder" as Third Kamikaze. As of October 2022, the music video had 341 million views on YouTube, making it the label's most-watched video on the platform to date, as well as the 29th most viewed YouTube video in Thailand. It is considered a modern T-pop song as a result of its success. For hits like "Following" and "Hidden Love," he frequently teamed with other Kamikaze artists.
Lapat appeared in the short film 5 Degrees 37 Minutes (2016), which was made in honor of King Bhumibol Adulyadej. He appeared in the episode "The Brave Things" as Kla.
In January 2016, his fifth song "Love Warning" was released. Its music video became one of Kamikaze's most-viewed videos on YouTube, with over 237 million views as of October 2022. "Stay," Lapat's sixth and final song with the label, was released on March 9, 2017 and served as one of the soundtracks for the mini-series 21 Days, I Love You (2017), in which he co-starred with other Kamikaze artists. He worked with the label until it closed down in November 2017.
In 2018, Lapat signed with 4NOLOGUE and became a member of the group Nine by Nine. As part of the project, he appeared in two TV shows: In Family We Trust (2018) as "Tao" and Great Men Academy (2019) as "Nuclear."
Following the completion of the project, he debuted as a member of TRINITY in 2019, alongside former Nine by Nine co-members Teeradon Supapunpinyo, Sivakorn Adulsuttikul, and Jackrin Kungwankiatichai. He also appeared as Firework Mask in the ninth season of The Mask Singer Thailand.
Lapat made his major feature debut in Mother Gamer (2020), as an e-sports player named "Kobsak." He received great feedback for his performance and was nominated for Best Actor at the 17th Komchadluek Awards and the 11th Thai Film Directors Association.
He starred as "Key" in the 2022 Thai TV series To My Puzzle Pieces.
Lapat appeared as a special guest at the Kamikaze Party 2022 on October 16, 2022, performing his solo singles "Reminder" and "Love Warning."
