Emma Watson pays Robbie Coltrane a heartfelt tribute.

Emma Watson pays Robbie Coltrane a heartfelt tribute.

On Friday, Emma Watson posted a touching homage to her Harry Potter co-star Robbie Coltrane on Instagram.

On Friday, October 14, the late actor—who in the series played gamekeeper Hagrid—passed away at the age of 72, prompting a deluge of condolences to the celebrity.
The 32-year-old actress who plays Hermione Granger posted a cute photo of them together while recalling his "warmth," "laughter," and "hugs."
Between 2001 to 2011, the two co-starred in the Harry Potter films as Emma was just ten years old when they first met.

She wrote: "Rest In Peace, Robbie Coltrane" in a lengthy tribute to Robbie Coltrane on her Instagram Stories. Robbie was the most entertaining uncle I've ever had, but more than anything, he showed both child and adult me a great deal of love and compassion. He could fill ANY room with his brilliance, therefore it made fitting that he played a giant. Robbie, I swear I'll act in your honour and memory if I ever get the opportunity to be as good to someone as you were to me on a movie set.
Please know how much I love and respect you. I'll greatly miss your kindness, joking about with me by my nicknames, warmth, laughter, and embraces. You united us as a unit. You were that to us, you know. No Hagrid was better than he was. You made being Hermione enjoyable.
Co-stars including Tom Felton and Daniel Radcliffe also took to social media to express their sympathy and pay respect, and Harry Potter author JK Rowling praised the actor as "A complete one off."
Belinda Wright, Coltrane's agent, made the announcement of his passing on Friday evening, calling the late actor a "special talent" and noting that he had passed away earlier in the day.
Please respect the privacy of Robbie's family at this difficult time, she added.
Robbie's unfortunate withdrawal from London Comic Con in June owing to illness fueled rumours that he had major health problems earlier this year.
The Scottish actor, whose real name is Anthony Robert McMillan, is most known for his roles as Dr. Eddie "Fitz" Fitzgerald, a criminal psychologist, and as beloved Hogwarts gamekeeper Hagrid in the ITV drama.

In the list of honours for 2006, he received an OBE for his contributions to drama.
She continued, "For my part, I will remember him as a persistently loyal client. He was not just a fantastic actor, but also brilliantly humorous and forensically bright. After 40 years of being honoured to be his agent, I shall miss him. His sister Annie Rae, children Spencer and Alice, as well as their mother Rhona Gemmell, all survive him. They appreciate the care and tact shown by the medical team at the Forth Valley Royal Hospital in Larbert.
