Zhou made her cinematic debut in the children's fantasy film Balala the Fairies: the Movie in 2013.
Zhou rose to prominence in 2015 for her performance as a cold assassin in the fantasy romance film Love Weaves Through a Millennium. The same year, she made her big screen debut as a rock musician in the teen comedy 20 Once Again. Zhou made her acting debut in the fantasy web drama The Journey in 2016.
