Wu Qian (born 26 January 1984) is a Chinese classical pianist.
Wu Qian was born in the Chinese city of Shanghai. She began piano lessons at the age of six and enrolled in the Shanghai Conservatory of Music at the age of nine. At the age of thirteen, she was offered a full scholarship to study with Irina Zaritskaya at the Yehudi Menuhin School, and she later went on to study with Arnaldo Cohen and Christopher Elton at the Royal Academy of Music in London.

Qian performed Mozart's Piano Concerto at the Queen Elizabeth Hall in London at the age of fifteen, and later at the Menuhin Festival in Gstaad, Switzerland. In 2000, Qian received the Martin Musical Foundation's Sydney Perry Award and performed the Saint-Saens Piano Concerto No. 2 with the Philharmonia Orchestra in St John's, Smith Square, London. In 2001, she gave a concert at the Purcell Room, including Elliott Carter's Night Fantasies, two György Ligeti Études, and Haflii Hallgrmsson's Homage to Mondrian. This recital, which aired on BBC Radio 3, received glowing reviews from five major newspapers. Qian has performed at the Wigmore Hall, Royal Festival Hall in London, Bridgewater Hall in Manchester, City Hall in Hong Kong, Hanover and Amsterdam, and the Steinway Hall in Hamburg and New York City, where her performance was recorded for broadcast throughout Asia by Japanese National Television NHK.
The Independent Newspaper named her an emerging star for 2007 in December 2006. Qian represented China at the Europalia festival in October 2009, performing Frédéric Chopin's Piano Concerto No. 2 with the Brussels Philharmonic on a tour of Belgium conducted by Carlos Kalmar.
