In 2010, she competed in Bigg Boss and won, becoming the show^/s first female winner. Nach Baliye, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, and Khatron Ke Khiladi are among her other reality series.
Tiwari has also appeared as Sweety in Parvarrish, Bindiya in Begusarai, and Guneet Sikka in Mere Dad Ki Dulhan. She is currently seen in Zee TV^/s Main Hoon Aparajita as the titular lead Aparajita.
Private life
Tiwari married actor Raja Chaudhary in 1998, and the couple had a daughter, Palak Tiwari, who was born on October 8, 2000. After nine years of marriage, she filed for divorce in 2007. Tiwari described a tumultuous relationship marked by Raja^/s drunkenness and domestic violence. He used to beat her up on a daily basis, she claimed. He used to show up on her program^/s sets and mess with her.
Tiwari married actor Abhinav Kohli on July 13, 2013, after courting for three years. Tiwari gave birth to their baby Reyansh Kohli on November 27, 2016. Reports of marital troubles initially surfaced in 2017. In August 2019, she filed a domestic abuse complaint against Kohli, stating that he harassed her and her children. Kohli was apprehended by police. In 2019, Tiwari and Kohli divorced.
