Childhood and education
Parikh was born and raised in the Gujarat city of Vadodara. She graduated from the Babaria Institute of Pharmacy in Vadodara with a [Pharmacy] degree. Shubham Parikh is her younger brother.
Career
In 2010, Parikh made his debut television appearance as a cameo in the sitcom Zindgi Ka Har Rang...Gulaal.
In 2011, Parikh landed her first television starring role in the Colors TV program Havan. She later played the lead in Sony TV^/s Byaah Hamari Bahoo Ka, alongside Gaurav Khanna. "I learned voice modulation and worked on body language," she says of her experience in this series. "I^/ve grown as an actor."
Parikh had an appearance in StarPlus^/ love drama Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? Ek Baar Phir (2013-2015) and was paired alongside Avinash Sachdev, in which she portrayed Aastha Agnihotri, a strong progressive lady who aspires to promote change by combating domestic violence to give women in her family recognition. When asked about her experience on this show, Parikh remarked that it was a watershed moment in her career because she was offered further roles due to her popularity as Aastha.
In 2017, Parikh played Gauri Kumari Sharma opposite Kunal Jaisingh in the first Indian television spin-off series on StarPlus, Dil Boley Oberoi.
This series was eventually combined with StarPlus^/s Ishqbaaaz, in which Parikh reprised her role as Gauri in the drama series Ishqbaaaz.(2017–2018). Parikh left the show in 2018 as it went through a generational shift.
Parikh made her film debut in 2017 with Thodi Thodi Si Manmaaniyan, opposite Arsh Sehrawat. She co-starred in her second film, Lamboo Rastoo, with Jay Soni in 2018.
In 2019, Parikh plays Janhvi Mittal, a woman driven by vengeance who seeks to destroy the Mittal family, in the StarPlus thriller series Ek Bhram...Sarvagun Sampanna, opposite Zain Imam.
Parikh starred in her first web series, Kshadyantra (2021), a Gujarati political thriller, as Shalini Patel, a woman driven by materialistic greed and a desire to rise to political prominence. Parikh then starred in Damaged 3 (2021), a Hindi psychological crime drama web series, as Shanaya Roy, a tenacious and secretive journalist. In 2021, Parikh co-starred with Akshay Mhatre in the &TV social drama series Ghar Ek Mandir - Kripa Agrasen Maharaj Ki. The show was shot entirely in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
Parikh has been playing Maitree in Zee Tv^/s Maitree since February 2023.
