Polina Ilinichna Chernyshova (Russian: олинa линина ернова; born 11 October 1993) is a Russian actress who works in theater and film. She is well recognized for her performance in the 2017 film Furious 7.

Polina Chernyshova was born in Moscow, Russia, the daughter of photographer Ilya Chernyshov. She has studied choreography, modern dance, and singing since she was a toddler.

She graduated from the Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute^/s V. Ivanov programme in 2014.

She got accepted into the Vakhtangov Theater^/s First Studio in 2015. Her first appearance on the Vakhtangov stage had been a year before. Polina played statistics woman in Professor Vladimir Ivanov^/s children^/s play "Cat in Boots."

Career

She rose to prominence in 2015 after playing Aksinya in Sergey Ursulyak^/s television film Quiet Flows the Don. Polina stated that she spent six months preparing for the filming of Quiet Flows the Don, trying to think through every detail.

Critics have given her work mixed reviews, with many drawing analogies to Elina Bystritskaya, who played Aksinya in Sergey Gerasimov^/s play Quiet Flows the Don. However, the actor overcame a difficult job by creating her own image of Aksinya Astakhova.

Polina appeared in the 2017 historical film Furious as one of the major characters.

• Prize for the best female role for the role of Elena in the performance "A Midsummer Night^/s Dream" at the 9th International Theater Competition at the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography in 2013.
• The Theater Prize "Golden Leaf" for the role of Varvara Kharitonovna in the play "Late Love" (season 2013-2014).
