She was born in Lahore, Pakistan, on January 1, 1988. She graduated from the University of Lahore. She made her PTV debut in 2001. She appeared as a minor supporting actress in the PTV drama Miss Fit. Then she played lead roles in several dramas on PTV Channel, which garnered her attention from the audience. She played an important lead role as Sharmeen in the Talafi drama on PTV, which was a huge success; she was praised for playing a villain and became popular.
