Hareem Farooq (born 26 May 1992) is a Pakistani theatre, film, and television actress and film producer best known for her roles in the television series Diyar-e-Dil and Pawnay 14 August. She co-produced Janaan, which was followed by Parchi in 2018. She is the first female celebrity to host the Pakistan Super League twice in the same year.

Hareem Farooq was born on May 26, 1992, in Islamabad and spent the majority of her childhood there before moving to Karachi with her family. Her parents are both doctors, with her father holding a PhD in public health and working as an international consultant, and her mother working as a dermatologist. Karachi Grammar School was where the actress received her early education. She earned a bachelor's degree in sociology and journalism from Quaid-e-Azam University in Islamabad before embarking on a career in acting.

Career
Hareem Farooq began her career in theatre in 2012, playing Fatima Jinnah in Pawnay 14 August and Kiran in Aangan Terha. The following year, she made her feature film debut as the lead in the horror thriller Siyaah. Hareem made her television debut in 2014 on the Pakistani top TV channel Hum TV with Mausam, alongside Ahsan Khan and Yumna Zaidi, and since then, she has given many popular dramas to the showbiz industry, including Doorsri Biwi, Mere Humdum Mere Dost, and Diyar-e-Dil. Farooq also appeared in the television drama Sanam. In the same year, she starred in the film Dobara Phir Se and was a co-producer in the feature film Janaan, in which she also made a cameo appearance. She was the lead actress in the comedy film Parchi, in which she played the character of a female don alongside co-stars Ali Rehman Khan, Ahmed Ali Akbar, and Usman Mukhtar.
In addition to her successful and expanding acting career, Farooq became Pakistan's first female actor-producer in 2015, when she joined her childhood best friend and producer of her debut film, Imran Raza Kazmi, as a partner in IRK Films and went on to produce Janaan with him, followed by her 2018 blockbuster Parchi.
In 2018, she also formed IHA Entertainment with Arif Lakhani and Imran Raza Kazmi, which soon entered into an agreement with top entertainment in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) as the first distribution firm.
Hareem was also the first female celebrity to host the Pakistan Super League in February 2018, where she presided over the third PSL opening ceremony in Dubai.
In 2017, she will also serve as the official spokesperson for Loreal Professional in Pakistan.
