Aditya Seal is an Indian actor best known for playing the male lead in the film Tum Bin II. He made his feature film debut in Ek Chhotisi Love Story, playing a teenager opposite Manisha Koirala. He has played Shekhar Malhotra in Tum Bin II, Sam in Namaste England, Samuel in Purani Jeans, and Veer Shergill in Fittrat, among others.
Background and early life
Aditya Seal is the son of a Bengali father and a Punjabi mother and was born in Mumbai.
Chatrabhuj Narsee Memorial School was where he went to school. Seal is a black belt in taekwondo and a former taekwondo champion. He also engages in gymnastics and martial arts training.
Aditya^/s father produced and acted in a Garhwali film, but he wanted to be a professional cricketer before an injury ended that dream, so he followed in his father^/s footsteps.

Seal married his longtime girlfriend actress Anushka Ranjan in Mumbai on November 21, 2021.
Career
Seal made his film debut in Ek Chhotisi Love Story, playing a voyeur teenager opposite Manisha Koirala. The plot revolved around a teen who develops a secret crush on his next-door neighbor. In 2006, he also appeared in the film We R Friends. He portrayed Samuel Lawrence in Purani Jeans. Seal appeared as Shekhar opposite Neha Sharma in Anubhav Sinha^/s Tum Bin II in 2016.
He played Manav Randhawa in Student of the Year 2 in 2019. Following that, he starred as Veer Shergill in Alt Balaji^/s web series Fittrat alongside Krystle D^/Souza, for which he received numerous accolades.
In 2020, he played the love interest of Kiara Advani^/s character in Indoo Ki Jawani, a dramedy about a girl^/s adventures with a dating app. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in India, the film was released in theaters on December 11, 2020, despite the 50% occupancy theatrical guideline.

Later in 2006, he made a cameo role in Jaidev Chakraborty’s comedy-drama film “We R Friends.” He got his second major film “Purani Jeans” in 2014, where he played the lead character named Samuel Joseph Lawrence aka Sam. The film features the story of a young boy who returns to his hometown and reconnects with his old friends. Along with Aditya Seal, the film also featured Tanuj Virwani, Izabelle Leite, Param Baidwaan, Raghav Raj Kakker, and Kashyap Kapoor in the lead roles. Although Aditya had a great performance but the film did not work at the box office. He tasted the flavours of failures at such an early age of his career. According to Aditya, he also suffered depression for some time before getting another work in the industry. He said
Though ‘Purani Jeans’ didn’t do well, I was praised for my work and I expected good offers to come my way. But when that didn’t happen, it pulled me down for a while. There were times when I needed friends to cheer me up. My mother suggested that I join the family business, but that didn’t help. On some days, I would just sit in my room, watch movies and ponder about what had gone wrong. Eventually, I spoke to my well-wishers and we decided to start from scratch. The plan was to look for the kind of roles played by Aditya Roy Kapur ‘ pivotal characters, though not the lead. I was deeply hurt when I couldn’t even find those.”
