Zackary Arthur (born September 12, 2006) is an American actor best known for playing Jake Wheeler in Chucky, a television continuation of the Child's Play film franchise, for which he received a Saturn Award nomination for Best Performance by a Younger Actor in a Network or Cable Television Series. He also appeared as Sammy Sullivan in The 5th Wave and as a young Jeff Piccirillo on the Showtime series Kidding.

Career

Arthur made his acting debut in 2014, co-starring with Jeffrey Tambor in the Amazon Studios comedy-drama series Transparent.

Arthur co-starred as Sammy Sullivan in the 2016 film The 5th Wave, alongside Chlo Grace Moretz and Nick Robinson, and was directed by J Blakeson. Hundreds of young actors auditioned for the part, and he was one of them. Columbia Pictures released the film on January 22, 2016.

He also appeared in the CBS comedy pilot The Half of It in 2015, and in the Grey's Anatomy episode "Trigger Happy" in 2016 as a small boy possibly responsible for his friend's paralysis.

He played Josh Ryan in the horror comedy film Mom and Dad in 2017. In 2021, he was cast as Jake Wheeler, the show's main protagonist, in the television series Chucky. The show was renewed for a second season, which will premiere on October 5, 2022.
