The Enforcement Directorate(ED) on Friday summoned Bollywood actor Yami Gautam in connection with an alleged violation of the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) , sources said. This includes some foreign transactions through her bank account.
“Mumbai: Enforcement Directorate summons actor Yami Gautam, asking her to appear before them next week to record her statement in connection with alleged irregularities under FEMA Act “, quoted ANI.
Gautam, according to ED, received Rs 1.5 Crore in her bank account and failed to disclose it to the authorities. This is the second time she has been asked by ED for enquiry.
The probe agency and asked Gautam to appear before July 7.
Yami Gautam recently got married to Uri director Aditya Dhar in Chandigarh and has just returned to Mumbai to resume shooting for her upcoming projects.
