Sukrit Wisetkaew Wiki, Age, Biography, Height, Girlfriend, Family, Images, And More

Sukrit Wisetkaew (Thai:, RTGS: Su-krit Wisetkaeo, pronounced [sù.krt w.sèt.kw], born 4 September 1985), better known by his stage name Bie (; RTGS: Bi), is a Thai singer and actor. He was discovered during the third season of Thailand's television talent show The Star. After finishing first runner-up in The Star 3, Bie rose to prominence as one of the top young singers, with his debut single I Need Somebody becoming an instant hit. He is popularly known as Bie The Star (Thai: ).

He was trained as a stage actor in various musicals in addition to his profession as a singer and actor in TV dramas and sitcoms. Behind the Painting is one of his musical masterpieces in which he had a prominent part.

Bie was named one of Thailand's Most Influential People in 2008, after only two years in the entertainment industry, according to a poll conducted by Thai Positioning magazine and Siamrath.

In May 2015, Bie was set to make his American stage debut in the world premiere of WATERFALL, an epic new Broadway bound musical love story based on Sriburapha's contemporary classic Thai novel Behind the Painting, with book and lyrics by Tony Award-winner Richard Maltby, Jr., music by Oscar-winner and two-time Tony Award nominee David Shire, and directed by Broadway and Thai theatrical impresario Tak Viravan.

Biography

Bie was born in Chiang Mai, Thailand, in 1985. Bie is derived from his full moniker "Gumbie," which translates to Dragonfly. He has an older sister named Mangpor, who shares the same meaning. Bie went to Montfort College in Chiang Mai for high school, where he majored in Science/Mathematics. Following that, he attended Bangkok's King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi, where he earned a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechatronics Engineering) degree in 2009. During his college years, he chose to audition for The Star's third season. During college, he studied while also working as an actor and singer in the entertainment industry.

The 2006 Star

Bie tried out for the third season of The Star in early 2006. Despite not impressing all three commentators, he regularly garnered the most votes each week. He advanced to become one of the last two participants, however he did not win the competition. Bie secured a contract with Exact and GMM Grammy shortly after finishing second in The Star 3 competition.

In 2006-2007, Bie was a star.

Bie is an Exact singer and actor signed to GMM Grammy. Following his victory on The Star, he began training with the management firm GMM Grammy. In October 2006, his debut single "I Need Somebody" was released in Thailand. After spending several weeks at the top of the radio charts, the song was named the number one love song single of 2006 by the Star Entertainment Awards, Seed Awards, and In Young Generation Choice Awards.

Aside from his singing career, Bie also starred in his first drama series, "Roy Adeed Hang Ruk." It is currently available in a variety of languages, including Filipino, Cambodian, and Indian. From early 2007 to the present, he has starred in the running sitcom "Nut Kub Nut" with his inherently hilarious persona. In May 2007, Bie co-starred in his second drama series "Hua Jai Sila" with Fang Pichaya.

Following the success of his debut as a singer and actor, "Thakonkiat Veerawan," managing director of Exact & Scenario, offered Bie the role of Pakorn, the youngest son, in the musical theatre "Banlang Mek," alongside Sinjai Plengpanich, one of Thailand's leading actresses. The musical was a huge success, with 47 performances, and it helped him become one of Thailand's biggest stage performers.

2008: On March 26, 2008,

Most popular star Bie's second album, I Love You Too, was published, and his single "Jungwa Huajai" (Rhythm of the Heart) soared at number one on various Thai charts. The album's second single, "Someone," also reached number one on the EFM and Hotwave charts. Furthermore, this album was one of the best-selling GMM Grammy albums of the year.

"Love Attack" was Bie's debut solo concert, which took place in May. This concert took place at Thailand's largest concert venue, "Impact Arena." Many people were surprised because he had only been in the entertainment industry for a little over two years. However, ticket sales were extremely high, and the concert sold out in two days. As a result, a second show was introduced for the spectators. His reputation as a vocalist earned him the titles of vocalist of the Year at the Top Awards and Popular Artist of the Year at the Siam Dara Awards.

Bie returned to the stage in an even greater musical, Behind the Painting (Khang Lang Pharp), with 49 performances in August, owing to his theatrical charisma, that he beams and glows on the stage. Even though he had only recently begun his singing and acting career, especially in musical theater, this was his first lead role in a musical. In this show, he played a young Thai student studying abroad in Japan who falls in love with a dynasty woman older than him, Pat Suthasinee, famed as Thailand's singing princess.

This year, his career earned him the title of Popular Star of the Year at the Nine Entertain Awards. He also received the Position and Siamrath Influential People of the Year award in Thailand's social circle.

2009 to the present

"Maak Maai" (: Plenty) from his third album, "Hug Bie" (: 'Hug' in Northern Thai indicates love), has over 5 million digital downloads. This album peaked at number one on the GMM Grammy's top digital downloads in 2009 and has sold over 1 million copies to date.

Bie returned to the screen in a drama series named "Prajan See Roong" (: The Rainbow-colored Moon) alongside famed actress Aff Taksaorn. Exact did not produce this drama series; it was his first time working with "Lakorn Thai" at Channel 3. Bie was not cast in this part, but was handed it by "Da Hathairat," the owner and producer of Lakorn Thai production. Prajan See Roong has also received the Mental Health Media Award in 2009, the TV Drama of the Year Award from the Nine Entertainment Awards in 2010, and the Best Drama Award from the Siam Dara Stars Awards in 2010.

Bie played a second solo concert called "Love Maak Maai" at Impact Arena hall in July; tickets sold out in a day, therefore a second show was added to the calendar. Bie was also named Popular Vote Artist Award from Sudsapda Awards 2009 and Hot Singer of The Year from TV Inside Hot Awards this year.

In May 2010, Bie returned with his fourth series, "Dok Ruk Rim Tang" (: The Sidewalk Love Flower), a comedy. This year, the drama had the highest viewer ratings of any Exact series. Bie had ordained as a monk for ten days on July 4. This year, he was also named Most Popular Star of the Year for Two Consecutive Years at the Nine Entertainment Awards, as well as Star Popular Vote at the Siamdara Star Awards.

Bie represented Thailand at the 7th Asia Song Festival, held at the Seoul Olympic Stadium in October 2010 and organized by the Korea Foundation for International Culture Exchange.

Fan Pan Tae, a Korean quiz show, aired an episode about Bie on March 2. The quiz program was immensely popular, and it put competitors' brains and knowledge of Bie to the test. While the questions were described as "ridiculously difficult," a woman named Apichaya Chuankao ( ) was able to answer every question about Bie, such as "From this picture (which was completely black and white and showed only Bie's posture), which song is he dancing to?" The program's final twist came when Bie emerged and personally awarded Apichaya, much to everyone's amazement, including the audience.

Bie debuted his first song "Glua Tee Nai" (: I'm not frightened) and quickly followed by "Rak Na Ka" (: Love you) off his new album "Rak Na Ka," which was released on March 10, 2011, and the VCD on March 31, 2011.

Activities for Social Responsibility

Bie has consistently participated in Thai society's socially good initiatives. He also earned honorary prizes from a variety of organizations, including the Outstanding Youth Award 2009 from the Ministry of Education, the Award for "Filial Children Towards Their Mothers" from the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, and the Diamond Song Award for Best Rendition in Thai.

Bie was a presenter for the "Moral Support" campaign, which focused on issues raised by Princess Bajrakitiyabha. In 2008, the Office of the Narcotics Control Board named Grammy singer Bie the star presenter in the annual drug campaign due to her exceptional pertinacity. Bie was also an ambassador for the Ministry of Social Development and Security's "Stop Violence Against Children, Women, and Families" campaign. In addition, in 2008, he took part in the "Just Say No" campaign against drugs.

In 2009, he was named a Presenter for the Ministry of Public Health's "Health Support" campaign. He was also a representative of KMUTT graduates who presented a wrist garland to Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, who presided over the 2009 Graduation Ceremony. Bie had in the end of the year special concerts by various artists, in a special event "The Greatest of the Kings, the Greetings of the Land", the 82nd birthday of His Majesty the King, led by the government offices, the theme song King of Kings has been specially composed for this event, the theme song King of Kings has been specially composed for this event.

Bie began with Sudsapda's "The Big Green Miracle" Project in 2010, for which he was chosen. The project aims to benefit the community, nature, and the environment.
