Sahil Salathia is a well-known Indian actor.
Sahil was born into a Rajput family in Jammu, the state capital of Jammu and Kashmir. Sahil attended Apeejay School in Sheikh Sarai, Delhi, and graduated from the Punjab University in Chandigarh as a software engineer. Sahil is also a Barry John Acting School graduate.
Modeling Sahil represented India at Mr. Asia 2012 in Hong Kong, where he finished fifth out of 32 Asian and Euro-Asian countries. Sahil has been the face of many popular brands and has done brand campaigns for nearly fifty leading brands in India, including Idea Cellular, Tata Indicom, Kingfisher, Big Bazaar, and Mercedes Benz, among others. He has also appeared on the covers of major magazines such as Maxim, GQ, and Hello, to name a few, as well as India Today and Men's Health India. He has appeared in approximately 20 commercials in India and abroad. His most recent television commercials include Tata Tetley Green Tea, Lava Mobile Phones, Tata Indica, Samsung laptops, and Loop mobiles, and he is still working on new ones.
Career
He made his acting debut as the male lead in Ashutosh Gowariker's Everest, where he gets to play an extremely layered character named Arjun Sabharwal, a celebrated mountaineer. He was especially excited to be represented by the great team of ace director Ashutosh Gowariker and Oscar-winning music director A. R. Rahman, who composed the background score for Everest. Sahil was recently honored as the Lion Gold Awards' Best Fresh Face for his on-screen portrayal of Arjun. A well-known face in the Indian entertainment industry, he made his Bollywood film debut in Ashutosh Gowarikar's Panipat. He is Jammu's pride and an example to many that hard work and perseverance pay off.

Apart from acting and modeling, Sahil is also involved in social causes. In the year 2014, he arranged for a fun filled day for the underprivileged kids from a NGO, Smile Foundation during Christmas.
He also flagged off the "Chal Kar Pahal" walkathon to support gender equality, women empowerment in Bhopal, Lucknow and Chandigarh
