Rena Nnen (, Nnen Rena, born July 13, 1993), also known professionally as Non (, Non), is a Japanese actress, fashion model, and singer from Kamikawa, Hygo Prefecture. She is most recognised for her work as the lead actress in the NHK drama series Amachan (2013). It was stated in July 2016 that she had changed her stage name to ", Non." She began releasing her own music in 2017 with her debut song "Ohirome Pack" and followed up with her debut album "Superhero's" in 2018.
Career
Nnen began as a fashion model in 2006 and was chosen as Calpis' eleventh image character in 2012. She was chosen in 2012 from a pool of 1953 women to portray the heroine in the 2013 NHK drama Asadora Amachan, in which she plays a high school girl who decides to become an ama, or female shell diver, as well as an idol. Amachan was a ratings success, with an average 20.6% rating throughout the course of the series, second only to Umechan Sensei (with 20.7%) in the previous decade. Nnen was the 2013 Kohaku Uta Gassen's "PR Ambassador" and a featured performer on the show, singing and directing the band. She debuted as a solo artist in 2017 with her debut song "Ohirome Pack" and released her debut album "Superhero's" in 2018.
