Keith Tyree Powers (born August 22, 1992) is a model and actor from the United States. He is best known for his roles in the BET miniseries The New Edition Story as Ronnie DeVoe and the film Straight Outta Compton as Tyree.

Career

He moved to Los Angeles with his father after graduating from high school in 2010 to pursue modelling, signing with the Wilhelmina Agency.
Powers landed a role in the 2013 film House Party: Tonight's the Night. He decided to pursue acting full-time after flying to South Africa for filming. In the BET hip hop anthology series Tales, he played Gutta, and in the Netflix original film Reality High, he played Cameron Drake. He appeared on the MTV show Faking It and is best known for his role as Tyree in the film Straight Outta Compton. He played Ronnie DeVoe in The New Edition Story and has been a co-star in Famous in Love on Freeform since April 2017. He also appears in the Netflix original series What If (2019).

Private life

From late 2017 to late 2022, Keith Powers was in a relationship with actress/singer Ryan Destiny. On January 18, 2022, People Magazine announced the breakup after four years of marriage.
