Kanchi Singh is an Indian television actress who was born on March 27, 1996. She is well-known for her roles as Avni Khandelwal in Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya and Gayatri Deora in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on StarPlus.
acting profession
2002–2012: initial works
In 2003, at the age of 9, Singh made her television debut in a minor part as a child artist for the television program Kutumb. She did, however, stop acting to concentrate on her additional education.
In 2011, at the age of 17, Singh made a comeback with Colors TV's Sasural Simar Ka, in which she portrayed Cherry Bharadwaj, a member of the male lead's family. This was eight years after her initial appearance. She left it in 2012 since there weren't enough scenes for her in it.
2014–present: Breakthrough
The breakthrough for Singh came in December 2013 when she joined Zee TV's Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya, a series that premiered in January 2014 and starred Mishkat Varma as Avni Khandelwal, a girl from a Rajasthani business family. Before the show's conclusion in December 2014, she was recognized for her performance.
Following her big break, Singh starred in Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya as Veebha opposite Rohit Suchanti in the final month of Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya, and then she played Hansa in an episode of Bhakton Ki Bhakti Mein Shakti on Life OK.
In 2016, Singh agreed to star in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, the longest-running drama on Star Plus, opposite Mohsin Khan and Fahad Ali as the parallel lead Gayatri "Gayu" Deora.
Singh played for the Lucknow Nawabs in the reality series Box Cricket League in 2018. A year later, she and Rohan Mehra participated in Kitchen Champion 5 on Colors.
Private life
Singh dated Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai co-star Rohan Mehra since 2016, but their relationship reportedly ended in 2021.
