Jirakit Thawornwong (Thai: ; also known as Mek (Thai: ), born August 28, 1994) is a Thai actor and singer. He is well known for his appearances as View in Room Alone 401-410 (2014) and Room Alone 2 (2015) on GMMTV, Zero in Ugly Duckling Series: Don't (2015), and Hawk in U-Prince Series (2016-2017).

Childhood and education

Jirakit was born in the Thai capital of Bangkok. He finished high school at Satriwithaya School [th]. He earned a bachelor's degree in communication arts from Kasetsart University's Faculty of Humanities in 2017.

Career

Jirakit, who aspired to be a singer, competed in the seventh season of The Star, a reality television singing competition, representing Central Thailand, but did not make it to the Top 24. He auditioned again for the show's eighth season, this time representing Southern Thailand, but was also eliminated. GMM Grammy afterwards offered and signed him as one of their performers. He began his career in the entertainment industry in 2011 as a host of Bang Music Buffet and was cast as Pete in the film Part Time Lover (2014).

He also appeared in Ugly Duckling (2015), Kiss: The Series (2016), U-Prince Series (2016-2017), and Secret Seven (2017) in both lead and supporting parts.
