Singer-actor Aditya Narayan, who is well-known for hosting the singing reality show Indian Idol 12, tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend, Shweta Agarwal last year. The couple had an intimate wedding ceremony in the presence of close friends and family. They later jetted off to Kashmir for their honeymoon. While the couple is enjoying a blissful married life, Aditya’s recent interview has left many speculating if Shweta and he are expecting their first child. The singer has dropped hints at becoming a father.
Speaking with ETimes about his future endeavors, Aditya Narayan shared that he might be a father next year. The singer revealed he wants to take a break from hosting and appearing on TV shows after wrapping up his commitments. He said, “As grateful as I am to Indian television for being my cocoon through the past 15 years, it is time to move on to other things.”
The singer further opened up about how he has been hosting on the small screen for quite a long and mentioned he wants to move on to bigger things. Aditya Narayan said, “I was a teenager when I started hosting on the small screen, and by the time I am done next year, I will probably be a father (smiles). The TV industry has given me a lot — name, fame, and success.”
Aditya, who is also a singer like his father Udit Narayan, said that he wants to announce his break from TV on Indian Idol soon otherwise he will keep getting hosting offers. About his future plans, he said: "As much as I love hosting, I have to start thinking about the bigger picture. I still want to sing, jump around and dance on stage, perform all over the world, and I don't want anything to hinder that."
