Ranjish Hi Sahi star Tahir Raj Bhasin has been in the news ever since the web series helmed by director Mahesh Bhatt was announced for OTT release. The show was released on January 13, 2022, on Voot Select.
Tahir Bhasin has played the role of a struggling film director while Amrita Puri will be seen playing the role of Shankar’s wife. Amala Paul will be seen as Aamna, a diva. The show revolves around the love triangle of these three people.
The web series based on the backdrop of the 1970s era marks the digital debut of director Mahesh Bhatt. It is reported that the show is based on the love story of Parveen Babi and Mahesh Bhatt which began in 1977 after she broke up with Kabir Bedi.

Tahir Bhasin was born in Delhi on April 21, 1987. He was born into an Indian Defence force family because of which he was raised at Air Force bases all around India.
He started his acting training at the Barry John Acting School in New Delhi at the age of fifteen.
Bhasin did his Bachelor’s in political science from the Hindu College, University of Delhi. He further went on to do Masters in Media from the University of Melbourne, Austria with special papers in Screen Media and the History and Philosophy of Film.
He went on to train in body language and behavioral analytics at the Institute of Advanced Acting and Behavioural Studies. He undertook intensive acting workshops at the Theatre Professionals Company in Mumbai who has faculty from NSD (National School of Drama)
In 2013, he was part of the summer intensive acting and voice training program which was led by Naseeruddin Shah, SDDS education, and the University of Melbourne at the National Centre of Performing Arts.
That’s not it, Bhasin has a background in contemporary Bollywood jazz dance and mixed martial art.
He started his acting career through short films for the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII). One such short film was Nero’s where he played ‘Dish Pig’.
Tahir made his lead Bollywood debut in Mardaani where he played the lead antagonist opposite Rani Mukherjee. Prior to this, he had made brief appearances in Kai Po Che! and One by Two. After Mardaani, he appeared in Force 2, Manto, and Chhichhore.
