Fumi Nikaid (, Nikaid Fumi, born September 21, 1994) is a Japanese actress and model.
Career
Nikaid began her career as a model in Naha, Okinawa, and made her film debut in 2009 in Kji Yakusho's Toad's Oil. At the 68th Venice International Film Festival in 2011, she and Shota Sometani got the Marcello Mastroianni Award for Best Young Actor and Actress for their work in Shion Sono's Himizu. She was named a "Int'l Star You Should Know" by Variety in 2014, and she was named a "International Rising Star" by the New York Asian Film Festival.
