Fionn Whitehead (/fn/; born July 18, 1997) is a British actor. In the 2017 film Dunkirk and the 2018 film Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, he played the lead role. His first acting role was in the ITV miniseries Him in 2016.

Whitehead was born on the 18th of July, 1997. Tim and Linda Whitehead, jazz musicians, raised him in Richmond, London. Fionn mac Cumhaill, an Irish folk legend, inspired his name. Whitehead has one older brother, Sonny, and two older sisters, Maisie, a performance artist, and Hattie, a singer. Whitehead was raised "in an artistic household". He wanted to be a guitarist or a breakdancer when he was younger. When he was 13, he began acting at the Orange Tree Theatre. He later attended Orleans Park School. He then attended Richmond College and enrolled in the National Youth Theatre's summer programme. He was an aspiring actor working at a coffee shop in Waterloo, London, by 2015.

Whitehead appeared in the British miniseries Him in 2016. He also appeared in a stage production of Glenn Waldron's Natives.

He played the lead in Christopher Nolan's film Dunkirk, which was released in 2017. In his youth, Nolan compared Whitehead to actor Tom Courtenay. After finishing Dunkirk, Whitehead began work on Richard Eyre's film The Children Act, which starred Emma Thompson and Stanley Tucci and premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2017. He also appeared in one of eight monologues in the 2017 television series Queers.

In 2018, Whitehead played the lead character Stefan Butler in the interactive stand-alone film Bandersnatch from the Black Mirror television series. In 2019, Whitehead starred in Sebastian Schipper's drama Roads as well as Martin Scorsese's film Port Authority. He later appeared in Don't Tell a Soul and The Duke (both 2020). He co-stars as Branwell Bronte in the Emily Bronte biopic Emily, and as Pip in a television adaptation of Great Expectations.
