Chonlathorn "Captain" Kongyingyong (Thai: (), born 2 February 1998) is a Thai actor most known for his lead part debut in Love Sick The Series, a TV adaptation of a popular yaoi novel. He graduated from Mahidol University's International Demonstration School and attended Srinakharinwirot University to study Social Communication Innovation. Following his successful run in Lovesick the series, he acted in school dramas U-Prince Series, Love Songs Love Series, and the Secret Seven TV series. In 2018, he portrayed Earn in the drama In Family We Trust. In 2019, he joined fellow Nine by Nine members in the school play Great Men Academy. Captain also reprised his role as Noh from Love Sick The Series in Reminders, a three-part miniseries.
Captain has sung songs on the Love Sick The Series Soundtrack, U-Prince the Series Soundtrack, and Water Boyy the Film Soundtrack. Captain joined the Thai boy group NINE BY NINE (9by9 or 9x9) in 2018. Nine by Nine made their debut with their mini-album En-Route in November 2018. Captain and the members of Nine by Nine then embarked on a nationwide tour to promote the band's album, which culminated in March 2019 with a Finale Concert. Captain has performed 'Night Light,' 'Hypnotise,' 'Shouldn't,' 'The Lucky One' (Great Men Academy OST), and 'Eternity' as a member of NINE BY NINE.
Beginning of the Series: Love Sick.
Captain had his debut role in Love Sick The Series. In the popular boy's love series, he plays Noh, one of the major characters. He, like the majority of the other actors on the show, was discovered through an open casting call. The first season of Love Sick featured 12 episodes. Its success sparked a second season of 36 episodes. Captain's portrayal of Noh won him several honours, including the Kazz honours 2015's Most Popular Shipped Couple of the Year (Captain and White (co-star)) and the Kazz Awards 2016's Most Popular Couple (White/Captain).
Captain also performed a song called Begging for the Love Sick the Series Soundtrack.
The Series Era of U-Prince
Captain played Kiryu in the popular school drama series U-PRINCE the series in 2016. He first appears as a supporting character in two U-PRINCE Series episodes, culminating in Kiryu's four-episode role. Captain appears in the U-PRINCE series The Extroverted Humanist as Kiryu Weller, an outgoing second-year student from the Faculty of Humanities. He develops an interest in Pinyin, his subordinate who has recently transferred from China. Pinyin has an introverted nature; she is apprehensive, difficult to make friends with, and extremely bashful. When they initially meet, Pinyin finds Kiryu's outgoing personality difficult to deal with, but they eventually grow to like each other. The series has been U-PRINCEd: There were four episodes of The Extroverted Humanist. It aired on the GMM 25 Network from February 12 to March 5, 2017.
Captain appeared in Love Songs Love Series and Secret Seven Era in 2016. As Pat, he performed a supporting role. From May 4, 2016 until May 19, 2016, the series aired six episodes on GMM 25 Network. Captain was then cast as the lead in Love Songs Love Series: Small Boats Should Leave (2017) in 2017. He played Tun in four episodes that aired on the GMM 25 Network between May 7, 2017 and May 28, 2017.
Captain took on the role of Neo in Secret Seven: Thoe Khon Ngao Kap Khao Thang Chet (from Thai: ) on August 19, 2017. Padlom (Sutatta Udomsilp), a lonely girl terrified of love, stars in this 12-episode school romance drama. She discovers one of the seven young men secretly likes her one day. Captain plays Neo, who is ranked seventh on the list.
NINE BY NINE and We Trust in Family
Captain was a member of the Thai Boy Group NINE BY NINE under 4Nologue in 2018. He was then cast in 4Nologue's drama project In Family We Trust as Earn. Phatson's second son, Ern, manages the Pattaya hotel's theatre. In the drama, Captain and members of NINE by NINE performed the roles of the grandkids.
Reminders & Great Men Academy
Captain appeared alongside members of NINE BY NINE in the LINE TV show Great Men Academy, commonly known as Great Men Academy, a LINE TV Originals production, from February to March 2019. He took on the character of Sean.
Captain reprised his role as Noh from Love Sick The Series in the short drama Reminders in April 2019. The final episode of Reminders, directed by New Siwaj Sawatmaneekul, will air at the Millennial's Choice 2019 Fan Meeting. ReminderS.

Captain joined the Thai boy band NINE BY NINE (), often known as 9by9 and 99. The Thai Boy Group made their debut on November 9, 2018. Captain performed as one of the NINE by NINE members on the 9 x 9 tour in February 2019. TOUR OF THAILAND: GETTING TO THE DESTINATION. For their admirers, the trio performed in many provinces throughout Thailand.

Captain took part in the HUMAN ERROR project in November 2019. The HUMAN ERROR project consists of three short films and three songs by three artists: Jaylerr, Captain, and Paris. The short shorts are titled BLUE for Jayler, WHITE for Captain, and RED for Paris. Captain features as supporting actor in the two of the films, and as lead in his own short film titled, 'White Captain'. 'Colour Blind' is Captain's song in the project.
The Colour Blind music video, directed by Songyos Sugmakanan, was released on Line TV Original Album on November 28, 2019.
Captain completed the International Demonstration School at Mahidol University before enrolling in the Faculty of Social Communication Innovation at Srinakharinwirot University. He enjoys snapping candid images of people on the street, which he says he enjoys the most. Captain's photography passion provided him with the opportunity to try out a picture session with ElleThailand. He also has a strong interest in art. His interests also include music listening.
