COLE SPROUSE Wiki, Age, Biography, Height, Girlfriend, Family, Images, And More

Cole Mitchell Sprouse (born August 4, 1992) is a photographer and actor from the United States. He is best known for his role as Cody Martin on The Suite Life of Zack & Cody (2005–2008) and its spin-off series The Suite Life on Deck (2008–2011). In his early career, he co-starred in several projects with his twin brother Dylan Sprouse. Sprouse first appeared as Jughead Jones on The CW's Riverdale in 2017.

Cole Mitchell Sprouse was born to American parents, Matthew Sprouse and Melanie Wright, in Arezzo, Italy. He was named after jazz singer and pianist Nat King Cole and was born 15 minutes after his twin brother Dylan Sprouse. The family returned to their parents' hometown of Long Beach, California, when the twins were four months old.

Sprouse majored in Geographic Information Systems with a minor in archaeology in college because his grandfather was a geologist and he was interested in earth science.

Career s1993–2012: Childhood roles as an actor

More details: Dylan and Cole Sprouse Taking a role

Cole and his brother, Dylan, began acting at the age of eight months after their grandmother, Jonine Booth Wright, a drama teacher and actress, suggested it. Much of Sprouse's early career was spent working alongside his brother, and some of their earliest roles were as one baby or child in commercials, television shows, and films. Because child labor laws in California limit the amount of time children can be filmed in a day, casting twins in a single role allows for more time to be filmed for one character. Patrick Kelly in the sitcom Grace Under Fire from 1993 to 1998, Julian in the 1999 film Big Daddy, and young Pistachio Disguisey in 2002's The Master of Disguise are some of the notable roles he shared with his brother. Cole debuted as Ross Geller's son, Ben, in episodes of NBC's Friends in 2001; this was his first role in which he did not appear alongside his brother. As he and his brother grew older, they began to play different characters while still working on the same projects. Their first appearance as distinct characters in the same production was as children in a MADtv sketch. Sprouse co-starred with his brother as Cody Martin in the 2005 Disney Channel original series The Suite Life of Zack & Cody; he reprised the role in the show's 2008 spinoff, The Suite Life on Deck, and its related film.

2016–present: Return to acting after graduation

Sprouse was cast as Jughead Jones in The CW's teen drama Riverdale, based on the characters of Archie Comics, on February 9, 2016. The show debuted on January 26, 2017. Sprouse starred in Five Feet Apart, a romantic drama released in March 2019; he plays a cystic fibrosis patient who falls in love with a girl who also has the disease. It was his second major theatrical film lead role, 20 years after his first, Big Daddy. In 2020, Sprouse produced and starred in the eight-episode podcast Borrasca. He was cast in Moonshot alongside Lana Condor in 2021.

Sprouse is a comic book fan who used to work at the Los Angeles comic shop Meltdown.

Sprouse enrolled at New York University in 2011 after deferring for a year. Initially interested in studying film and television production, he chose to attend the Gallatin School of Individualized Study, where he pursued the humanities, particularly archaeology. In May 2015, he graduated alongside his brother. Sprouse briefly worked in archaeology, participating in excavations and performing laboratory work. He was an expert in geographic information systems and satellite imaging. During his studies, he worked on summer digs in Europe and Asia. During his undergraduate studies, he discovered a Dionysus mask on a dig in Bulgaria.

Sprouse is passionate about photography. In 2011, he launched a personal photography website and enrolled in NYU classes. He has photographed for major fashion magazines such as Teen Vogue, L'Uomo Vogue, The Sunday Times Style, and W Magazine, among others.

Sprouse was arrested on May 31, 2020, after he participated in racial justice protests in Los Angeles following the murder of George Floyd.
