Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas (born 3 January 1993) is an Indian film actor who primarily appears in Telugu films. He made his debut with the action comedy film Alludu Seenu (2014), which won him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut - South. He is the son of film producer Bellamkonda Suresh. He is making his Hindi debut with the remake of the 2005 Telugu blockbuster Chatrapathi.
Careers
Bellamkonda Bellamkonda Suresh, a Telugu film producer, is the father of Sai Sreenivas. He completed his acting training at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in Los Angeles (USA) and the Barry John Acting Studio in Mumbai (India). He also received professional martial arts and stunt training in Vietnam. Ganesh Bellamkonda, his younger brother, is set to make his Tollywood debut as an actor.
Sreenivas made his Telugu debut in the 2014 film Alludu Seenu, alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Prakash Raj. Following the success of the film, he starred alongside Sonarika Bhadoria and Prakash Raj in Speedunnodu, a Telugu remake of the Tamil superhit Sundarapandian. He also appeared in Jaya Janaki Nayaka alongside Rakul Preet Singh, Saakshyam alongside Pooja Hegde, Kavacham alongside Kajal Aggarwal and Mehreen Pirzada, and Sita again alongside Kajal Aggarwal. He also starred alongside Anupama Parameswaran in Rakshasudu, the Telugu remake of the Tamil blockbuster Ratsasan. He co-starred in Alludu Adhurs with Nabha Natesh and Anu Emmanuel in 2021.
The Hindi remake of the Telugu film Chatrapathi (2005) was announced in November 2020, and it would be his Bollywood debut. V. V. Vinayak has been appointed as its director. Stuartpuram Donga, his next film, will be released in August 2021. Tiger Nageswara Rao of Stuartpuram, a notorious thief, is the subject of the film.
