Ankit Gupta (born November 6, 1988) is a well-known Indian actor who works primarily in Hindi television. He is best known for his role in Colors TV's Udaariyaan as Fateh Singh Virk. He appeared as a contestant on Bigg Boss 16 in 2022.
He is also known for his roles in Sadda Haq as Parth Kashyap and Begusarai as Garv Priyom Thakur.
Gupta was born on November 6, 1988, in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. He finished his studies at IPEC Engineering College.
Career He began his career in a call center and later moved to Mumbai, where he did many commercials and music videos before beginning his acting career.
Gupta made his acting debut as Dr. Abhishek Kumar in the Colors TV series Balika Vadhu in 2012. In the same year, he appeared in the Hindi film Tutiya Dil as Nalender Yadav. In 2014, he rose to prominence as Parth Kashyap in Channel V India's Sadda Haq.
Gupta appeared in Begusarai as Garv Thakur, Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi as Jatin Roy, Mayavi Maling as Chegu, and Kundali Bhagya as Pawan Malhotra in recurring roles. Illegal - Justice, Out of Order, Bekaboo 2, and Main Hero Boll Raha Hu are some of the web series in which he has appeared. From 2021 to 2022, Gupta was seen as Fateh Singh Virk, the male lead in Colors TV's popular drama Udaariyaan. In 2022, he was seen on Colors TV's reality show Bigg Boss 16, where he was evicted on day 84.
Gupta has been starring as Jahaan, a musician, in Colors TV's romantic musical drama Junooniyatt since February 2023.

My director would never take my shot, only the assistants would take shots. They would call me early in the morning and make me sit for the entire day and probably in the evening I would shoot a scene. My director would always be irritated with me and I understand it now. But at that time I could not understand why they were behaving like that with me.”
Funny story I had said no for the show thrice before agreeing. But I believe it was destined to happen. So my friends actually convinced me to do the show. Adding the charm of one hero with two heroines, who would deny such an opportunity? So I finally agreed to do the show.”
Sunday should be fixed offs (laughs). In India, nobody wants to work on Sundays, no matter what you do or where you are, Sunday is a different feeling. Second one would probably be less working hours. Normal shift is for 12 hours, but we end up shooting for 14-15 hours, but if I can, I would probably bring it down to 8 hours.”
When I’m not working, I like to catch up on my sleep which at times is really elusive with all the work. I can sleep for hours on end. I think my personal best is a continuous stretch of 38 hrs of sleep at one go!! Apart from the sleeping, I love to surf and hang out with friends in my free time.”
