Wiggins was born in Houston, Texas, on November 2, 1998, to Jennifer and Steve Wiggins. Jacob and Luke Wiggins are Wiggins' two older brothers.

Career
In 2014, Wiggins made his feature film debut as Jacob Wilson in the drama Hellion, directed by Kat Candler and starring Aaron Paul and Juliette Lewis. On January 17, 2014, the film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and was released in the United States on June 13, 2014. Several critics praised his performance in the film.

Wiggins co-starred as Justin Wincott in the 2015 adventure drama Max, alongside Dejon LaQuake, Thomas Haden Church, and Robbie Amell, about Max, a dog who plays the titular role. Boaz Yakin directed the film, which was released by Warner Bros. Pictures on June 26, 2015. Wiggins also co-starred as Louis in the action-thriller film Lost in the Sun with Josh Duhamel in 2015. He appeared in the survival drama Walking Out and the drama film The Bachelors in 2017.
Wiggins then starred as Franky Winter in Keith Behrman's coming-of-age drama Giant Little Ones. The critically acclaimed screenplay of the film, which was released in 2018 and 2019, explored contemporary complexities of sexual identity (Canada and the United States respectively).
