## The decision comes after the studio recently announced it is shelving the $90 million film Batgirl.

- The studio also axed Scoob: Holiday Haunt along with Batgirl, despite both films being in post-production.
- "We’re not going to put a movie out unless we believe in it," CEO David Zaslav said while defending the decision.
- Meanwhile, Miller has been a magnet to several controversies regarding this alleged abusive behaviour.

**Ezra Miller^/s** starrer ***The Flash* **is a go by **Warner Bros **despite the numerous controversies surrounding the actor. "We have seen ^/The Flash,^/ ^/Black Adam^/ and ^/Shazam 2,^/" said Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav. "We are very excited about them. We^/ve seen them. We think they are terrific, and we think we can make them even better," [Variety](https://variety.com/2022/film/news/the-flash-still-releasing-ezra-miller-scandals-warner-bros-1235332931/) reported.

Miller has been the centre of controversies for their alleged abusive behaviour, that include choking a woman at a bar and harassing another in Berlin. Miller was also arrested in Hawaii for disorderly conduct and for causing second-degree assault in another incident.

The decision comes amid talks of the studio withdrawing future projects with the actor following these allegations. The decision is also announced at a time when the studio axed the premiere of the Leslie Grace starrer Batgril on HBO Max.

Addressing the same Zaslav said, "We^/re not going to launch a movie until it^/s ready. We^/re not going to launch a movie to make a quarter, and we^/re not going to put a movie out unless we believe in it."

Apart from $90 million film, the studio also axed *Scoob: Holiday Haunt*, despite both films being in post-production.

*The Flash *will also see the return of Ben Affleck as the *Justice League* version of Batman, along with Michael Keaton as Batman, 30 years after he starred in Tim Burton^/s *Batman Returns*. Keaton was also set to feature in the same role in the now shelved *Batgirl*.

The cast for the upcoming movie also includes Ron Livingston, Kiersey Clemons, Michael Shannon, Antje Traue and Sasha Calle.

Andy Muschietti is helming the project after a multiple directors including Seth Grahame-Smith, Rick Famuyiwa and the duo of John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein boarded and left the project midway due to creative differences.
