When Mysterio entered the WWE in 2002, Triple H was the main star on Raw, therefore Mysterio was assigned to SmackDown.

In contrast to Rey, who was selected for Raw in 2008, Triple H was ultimately selected for SmackDown.

The next year, Mysterio returned to SmackDown while Triple H was drafted back to Raw.

As part of the 2007 Survivor Series, Rey and Triple H would be on the same team with Jeff Hardy and Kane.
