Over the weekend, **Ben Affleck** and **Jennifer Lopez** attended a memorial service for their buddy J.R. Ridinger.

The couple made an appearance at the business magnate^/s memorial service on Saturday in Miami Beach, Florida, alongside other celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Alicia Keys, Jamie Foxx, and Ja Rule.**The CEO of Market America and a well-known player in Miami^/s social scene passed away on August 30 at the age of 63 from a pulmonary embolism while sailing in Croatia.**

On Sunday, Lopez, 53, posted images from the celebration on Instagram along with a message of sympathy for Ridinger^/s wife Loren. At the memorial service conducted at the Faena Forum, Lopez, Keys, Foxx, and Ja Rule gave tributes to Ridinger. Swizz Beatz, DJ Khaled, Fat Joe, and Rohan Marley were also there.

My beautiful friend has lost the love of her life after more than 30 years, wrote Lopez. "Strength, beauty, and grace..." "Last night we honoured JR^/s life, and despite the excruciating agony and never-ending tears of the previous month, we were still able to laugh, remember, and even #DanceAgain. He would have loved it! We still have your girl, JR. As always, "True Love Never Dies.""

Lopez was answered by Loren: "I adore you a much. He cherished you dearly. I appreciate you staying up with me through all of my tears and every night. I will always remember that. Furthermore, he won^/t Now more than ever, I need you."  
Numerous Ridinger^/s celebrity friends paid tribute to him on social media after his sudden passing.

In response to Loren^/s post, Serena Williams, who was playing in her final US Open match at the time, said that she is "shattered as well as for you and with you." On his Instagram Story, David Beckham referred to the Ridingers as a "wonderful, compassionate, and generous couple," telling Loren that "we are here for you" and expressing his sorrow for J.R.^/s passing.

In a comment on Loren^/s post, singer Ashanti wrote, "Praying for you and the family love you."  
Foxx also provided insight into Ridinger^/s capacity to establish deep bonds with a variety of superstars.

"You welcomed me into your home like family the moment I first met you...

In some of our most vulnerable times, you looked after my family and I, "Foxx, 54, composed. "Your laughing filled the space... And you were wonderful on stage... I just recently saw you, and you were vibrant and kind. If I saw you again, I^/d say your catchphrase. Stupid mistake! R.I.P., @jrridinger"
