Yukie Nakama Wiki, Age, Biography, Height, Husband, Family, Images, And More

Yukie Nakama (, Nakama) Yukie (born October 30, 1979) is a former idol, actress, and singer from Japan.

History Biography

She was born as the youngest of five siblings into a fishing family in Urasoe, Okinawa, Japan.

She began her career as a gravure idol and singer (her debut song "Moonlight to Daybreak" was published in 1996), and she played in bit roles until her breakthrough performance as Sadako in "Ring 0: Birthday (2000)."

In 2000, Nakama demonstrated her talent for comedy as the lead in the Japanese television drama Trick, which was so popular that it spawned two more seasons and four film adaptations, but it was the top-rating 2002 TV series Gokusen, a live-action adaptation of the popular manga, that established her as one of Japan's most popular and bankable actresses. Gokusen lasted three seasons, with many cameo appearances by performers from prior seasons. She is particularly well-known for her performance in the drama Saki, in which she co-starred with Shohei Miura.

Nakama has appeared in ads for Nissin Foods, Glico, Lotte, Asahi, Shiseido, au by KDDI, and Japan Railways, as well as serving as a spokesman for Japan Railways and the Japanese Tax Agency. Production Ogi is in charge of her.

Personal life

On September 18, 2014, Nakama married actor Tetsushi Tanaka following a six-year courtship. In February 2018, it was discovered that Nakama was four months pregnant. In June 2018, she gave birth to twin sons.
