Whether Anne Hathaway Would Consider a The Devil Wears Prada Sequel

Like the rest of us, Anne Hathaway is tempted to bring The Devil Wears Prada back, but she doesn't think it would be a smart idea.

I don't know if there can be a sequel to the cult classic movie, the actress said in response to a question during a recent appearance on The View.

I just feel like that movie was made in a different time period, she said. Now that everything is so digital, and that movie was focused on the idea of creating a physical object, everything is just very different.

In the film, Hathaway plays young journalist Andy Sachs, who is hired by the ice queen employer Miranda Priestly to work for the fashion magazine Runway.
Hathaway's career in Hollywood was boosted by the film, and she thereafter appeared in a number of movies, including Les Misérables, Ocean's Eight, The Intern, and Dark Waters.
When referring to the well-known characters in the film and the renowned actors who play them, Hathaway said, "It is tempting to think about Andy and Emily needing to get Miranda her coffee, and she's somewhere in Europe, and then along the way they pick up Stanley Tucci in Italy, who's at a restaurant."

"Although it's enticing, I don't believe it will actually happen. They might start it over, recruit fresh participants, and do it "the star recommended.

Over the years, Hathaway has expressed her appreciation for The Devil Wears Prada on numerous times. She shocked the Internet during the most recent New York Fashion Week when her style team created an outfit that mirrored one she wore in the movie.

It was somewhat bizarre, wasn't it? After Fashion Week, Hathaway said that she wore the same costume as her well-loved character "by accident" during an interview on the TODAY show. My hairstylist, who was so nice and with whom I had never previously worked, simply responded, "Oh, I know what to do," and he pulled my hair back into a ponytail, she continued. "I noticed something weird when I looked in the mirror. I'm not sure if anyone will notice."
