Sombatsara Teerasaroch approached her and she eventually returned to modeling. The family traveled to Bangkok to assist Sperbund's entry into the entertainment business. She began performing picture shoots and participated in music videos for Mr.D and C-Quint after that.
Acting career from 2008 to 2015: First appearance and breakout
Sperbund made her television debut as a co-star in the Channel 3 sitcom Peun See Long Hon in 2008. In 2010, she co-starred in Kularb Rai Narm with Laila Boonyasak and Atshar Nampan. The same year, she starred in Duang Jai Akkanee, a film based on Sorn Klin's 2009 novel of the same name. The drama was a huge hit in Thailand, earning her Top Awards and Siamdara Stars Awards for Best Rising Star. In 2011, she auditioned for the lead part in Tawan Dueat, directed by Atthaporn Teemakorn and co-starring Prin Suparat. She was nominated for Best Actress at the 3rd Nataraja Award, but lost to Araya A. Hargate for Dok Som See Thong.
Sperbund had additional success after Tawan Duead, appearing opposite Nadech Kugimiya in Game Rai Game Rak (2011), for which she received a TV Gold Award nomination. Sperbund also provided her voice for the 2012 animated film Superhero Lo Chuai Dai. She won her first Suphannahong National Film Awards and was nominated for Best Actress at the Bangkok Critics Assembly Awards and the Starpics Thai Film Awards.
Her next role was in Nakee 2, a fantasy thriller starring Natapohn Tameeruks, Phupoom Pongpanu, and Nadech Kugimiya. Despite negative reviews, the film was an economic success, becoming Thailand's ninth highest-grossing film of all time. That same year, she starred as Princess Alice in the romantic action television series The Crown Princess. In February 2018, she became the first Thai actress to be named a "Friend of Louis Vuitton" and the first Thai star to be featured in US Vogue.

Private life
In 2010, Sperbund met Thai actor Nadech Kugimiya while filming Duang Jai Akkanee. Their romance was widely speculated about in the media, but the couple refused to talk openly about it. Sperbund told The Standard Pop in November 2022, "Actually, we've never asked each other to be boyfriend and girlfriend." 'When should we count as our day one?' we wondered. And I believe it happened during the production of Torranee Ni Nee Krai Krong."
