The puppy that strained Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavins relationship is being kept.

Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin's marriage is allegedly back on track, as is the ownership of their Rottweiler that was a major contributing factor to said marital troubles, in what is sure to be a cautionary story about co-parenting fur-babies.
An unnamed insider who spoke with Mirror claimed that Flavin wasn't especially pleased with Stallone's choice to bring the puppy home earlier this year, which served as the starting point for a chat regarding the couple's more serious relationship issues.

TMZ is now stating that Flavin and Stallone are giving their marriage another shot and that the dog, named Dwight, has since won over Flavin after an argument that led to her filing for divorce back in August.
Stallone disagreed that Dwight was to blame for events turning out the way they did, claiming that a minor disagreement had not ruined his 25-year marriage; rather, the couple had just moved in different directions.

Given that Stallone replaced the tattoo of his wife on his shoulder with one of the dog, we could definitely be excused for believing otherwise.

Whatever the reasons for the brief separation, let this serve as a warning to any future pet-owning couples: it's probably not a good idea if you're not both on board. Nevertheless, we're relieved to learn that Dwight has a lasting home and wasn't a regrettable impulse purchase.

The Expendables 4 will definitely be an action-packed ensemble picture when it comes out on September 22 of next year, but Stallone can hopefully now return his attention to it.
