The premiere of "Chhalle Mundiyan" will take place exclusively on Sony LIV on September 23. Sony LIV is expanding its library of localised content with the help of Sunil Puri's direct-to-OTT romantic comedy.
The World Peace Chorus (Chhalle Mundiyan) "includes important roles from Ammy Virk, Mandy Thakar, Kulwinder Billa, Karamjit Anmol, Soniya Kaur, BN Sharma, Banninder Bunny, and Nisha Bano, among others. Sunil Puri, making his directorial debut, is also the film's producer, alongside Guramritpal Singh and Gurjitpal Singh.
"The drama of confusion, chaos, hope, and love will be relatable for the viewers," actor Ammy Virk said in response to the film. Pammi is a compelling protagonist because of her complex personality. I'm happy that I got to participate and get to know such a talented group of people. On September 23rd, when it debuts on SonyLIV, I plan to see it."
With Punjab as its backdrop, "Chhalle Mundiyan" follows the story of Jassi (Mandy Thakar) and Pammi (Ammy Virk), a foreigner who has come home with a Caucasian woman and his friend's child.
Actress Mandy Thakar commented, "This is my first OTT original, and I am really happy to be part of it. Over-the-top (OTT) media distribution provides actors and content with a large audience and several opportunities. The film "Chhalle Mundiyan" is a fun and unusual experience for the whole family. I pray that everyone who watches this romantic comedy of errors will fall in love with it as much as I do and continue to offer us nothing but support.
