Sanam Baloch Hisbani or Jatoi (Urdu:, Sindhi: ) (born 14 July 1986), better known as Sanam Baloch, is a Pakistani actress and television presenter. She has hosted several television shows, including Sanam Small Room on KTN and the Samaa TV morning show. She has appeared in critically acclaimed drama series such as Dastaan (2010) and Durr-e-Shehwar (2012). (2012).
Private life
Baloch married her colleague Abdullah Farhatullah in a simple nikah ceremony in Karachi on October 12, 2013. Farhatullah is a singer, songwriter, and television host. They met while working for Samaa TV and had been good friends for quite some time. Baloch changed her name to Sanam Abdullah after marrying. In April 2018, Baloch's publicist denied rumors of a divorce.
Baloch confirmed her divorce from Abdullah in October 2018. They are no longer friends, despite maintaining a cordial relationship with each other.
Baloch confirmed her second marriage in August 2020.
Baloch started her career as a talk show host on Sindhi television channel KTN. On KTN, she hosted two shows: Sanam Small Room and Diyoo. She appeared in Fahad Mustafa's Kalaq, a long play. She has also appeared in Urdu and Sindhi music videos. Baloch co-starred in the Hum TV drama Dastaan with Fawad Khan. Her next role was in the women's rights drama Kankar, which she co-starred in with Fahad Mustafa. She played Noorulain Aneez in Noorpur Ki Rani.
She hosted the morning show Morning With Hum on Hum TV before moving to Samaa TV to host Subha Saveray Samaa Ke Saath. She married Abdullah Farhatullah, a Samaa TV show host. previously She hosted the ARY News morning show. In 2018, she left ARY News. She currently hosts the "morning show" on Samaa TV.
Sanam Baloch was offered Pakistani films such as Bin Roye and Balu Mahi, among others; in fact, she had signed Bin Roye as well, but she later cancelled the contract with Hum TV in order to focus on her morning show with ARY News and her wedding.
Baloch is one of Pakistan's highest-paid actresses.
