Sagarika Ghatge is an Indian model and actress who predominantly appears in Hindi cinema. She is best known for playing Preeti Sabharwal in Chak De! India. She appeared as a finalist on Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 6 in 2015. Ghatge plays hockey at the national level.
Ghatge was born in a Maharashtrian family to Vijaysinh Ghatge (not Vijayendra Ghatge, as some have claimed) and Urmila Ghatge in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, where she remained till the age of eight. She then went to Mayo College Girls School in Ajmer, Rajasthan. Her father is from the previous royal family of Kagal, while her grandmother, Sita Raje Ghatge, is the daughter of Tukojirao Holkar III of Indore. She is linked to a former royal house of India through Shahu Maharaj of Kolhapur. She has a sibling. She used to be a national-level hockey player.
Ghatge announced her engagement to cricketer Zaheer Khan on April 24, 2017. They married in November of 2017.
Ghatge made her acting debut in Chak De! India in 2007, playing Preeti Sabharwal, for which she was named Reebok India's brand ambassador. She has appeared in numerous fashion magazines and fashion shows.
Ghatge then played Urvashi Mathur in the 2009 film Fox. She went on to play Kamiah in Miley Naa Miley Hum. Ghatge then appeared in the 2012 film Rush alongside Emraan Hashmi. She then acted in Satish Rajwade's Marathi film Premachi Goshta with Atul Kulkarni in 2013, which was her debut Marathi film.
She appeared as a finalist on Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 9 in 2015. Ghatge also made her Punjabi cinema debut in Dildariyaan, starring Jassi Gill, as Paali.
She starred as Maya Singh in the critically acclaimed 2017 film Irada.
She made her digital debut in 2019 with ALT Balaji's Boss - Baap of Special Services, playing ACP Sakshi Ranjan opposite Karan Singh Grover.
